Good evening, everyone, and welcome to another edition of ATL ReKap. I hope you're all enjoying a wonderful evening as we head into the upcoming weekend. Let's jump right into the latest updates.
The Bulldogs are on an incredible roll, maintaining their undefeated streak by defeating Ole Miss 52-17 and solidifying a 9-0 record this season. Quarterback Carson Beck had a stellar performance, completing 18 of 25 passes for a total of 306 yards, and throwing 2 touchdowns with one interception. Leading the backfield, Kendall Milton carried the ball 9 times, accumulating an impressive 127 yards, and scoring two touchdowns, including a remarkable 51-yard run. Daijun Edwards also made significant contributions, advancing the ball with 12 carries for 59 yards.

Ladd McConkey continues to shine, putting up impressive numbers with 4 receptions for a total of 81 yards, including a touchdown, and a remarkable 41-yard run. Wide receiver Brock Bowers also found the end zone with a touchdown, making 3 receptions for 34 yards. Inside linebacker C.J. Allen led the Dawgs in tackles with 9, adding a sack and a TFL to his impressive performance. Javon Bullard made a crucial interception on Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart.

Shifting gears to the Braves, there are significant changes on the horizon. The team has released third base coach Ron Washington, who is now taking on the role of manager for the Los Angeles Angels. Additionally, the Braves have officially declined options for Eddie Rosario, Collin McHugh, Kirby Yates, and Brad Hand, making them free agents, as announced by the team. Outfielder Sam Hilliard has been claimed off waivers by the Baltimore Orioles. Further, the Braves have outrighted RHP Ben Heller and INF Andrew Velazquez to Triple-A Gwinnett.
