Good evening, everyone, and welcome back to yet another blog on ATL ReKap. I haven't seen you all in a minute, but there hasn't been much to report lately. However, we do have a Hawks recap coming up on Friday night, so stay on the lookout for that. I hope you all had a great Wednesday, and let’s jump right into tonight’s quick blog.

Atlanta Falcons

As expected, the quarterback position will be a “top priority” for the Falcons heading into the offseason, says GM Terry Fontenot.

“That’s a top priority for us this offseason, and it’s exciting. We’re going to spend a lot of time together, make sure we attack that the right way. We’re not going to close any doors, be it trades, free agency, the draft. We will make sure we keep an open mind there and we’re going to attack it and make sure we get it right.”

Also, Justin Fields' chances of taking the QB spot for the Falcons have become even higher as he has unfollowed the Bears from his personal and dog account on Instagram. He was asked on his live stream recently why he unfollowed and said that he just needed a break from football. Let me know what you all think. On that same livestream, he also stated, “Atlanta would be tough… I think they got a lot of playmakers on the team. Bijan, my boy Kyle (Pitts), and of course Drake (London). They probably need one more receiver but they got some guys.”

I honestly think he would be a great addition to the team as he is very dynamic passing and rushing-wise, and seeing him on the team as a young experienced QB would fit perfectly with the players and the coaches. The Falcons are looking to trade their 2024 first-rounder, second-rounder and TE Jonnu Smith for Justin Fields and a 2024 first-rounder.

Atlanta Hawks

Free agent Danuel House Jr. could soon reach an agreement with the Atlanta Hawks, per Patrick Beverley.

He is currently weighing his options among a few Eastern Conference teams, including Atlanta. House is a good perimeter defender who would help the Hawks with their issue of wing depth.

As we bring this blog to a close, I wish each of you a fantastic rest of the evening. Let's make the most of the day and share some love with our parents and loved ones – they truly deserve it!
