Good evening, readers, and welcome back to our daily blog, "ATL ReKap!" Let's dive right into today's updates.

The Atlanta Braves enjoyed a day off, but they're gearing up to face the San Francisco Giants tomorrow evening at 7:20 pm EST. Keep an eye out for reigning NL MVP runner-up, Spencer Strider, who's set to take the mound. With an impressive 3.45 ERA and a season record of 13-4, Strider is expected to be a key player in tomorrow's game.

Shifting our focus to the bullpen, the Braves have been turning heads since the All-Star break. Their performance has been nothing short of remarkable, boasting a 1.84 ERA in August — a feat that ranks them second in MLB. Their overall bullpen ERA of 3.44 is the best in the NL and second in the entire MLB. Additionally, they've secured a road ERA of 2.98, which stands as the lowest in all of MLB. Noteworthy players like Joe Jimenez, Raisel Iglesias, Kirby Yates, and AJ Minter have been making significant contributions, with ERA numbers that prove their prowess on the field.

Shifting gears to the Falcons, the team has recently added rookie OT Trevor Reid to their roster. Reid, an undrafted free agent from Louisville, has previously spent time with the Eagles this year. This signing aligns with popular projections that saw Reid as a potential fit for the Falcons, considering his past association with offensive line coach Dwayne Ledford during their time at Louisville.

In the realm of basketball, the Atlanta Hawks, like their NBA counterparts, have unveiled their regular season schedule. Notably, the Hawks are scheduled to play a game in Mexico City against the Orlando Magic. This international game adds to the excitement of the upcoming season, which features a total of 41 regular season games for Atlanta at State Farm Arena for the 2023-24 season.

Mark your calendars for the season opener in Charlotte, where the Hawks will take on the Hornets on Wednesday, October 25th at 7 PM EST. Also, make note of the special occasion on January 15, 2024 — Martin Luther King Jr. Day — when the Hawks will have a traditional home day game against the San Antonio Spurs. The season will conclude on Sunday, April 14, 2024, with a road game against the Indiana Pacers.
