Good evening and congratulations to the Braves for clinching the NL East Champions title for the 6th consecutive season. Now the NL East is officially over, right Sal? Luckily, the Mets are not at the bottom of the division but are cutting it close with the Nationals only 2.5 games ahead. The Mets fall only 28.5 games behind the Braves so that just confirms they are not going anywhere after trading superstars off the team. Spencer Strider put on a stellar performance tonight, commanding the mound for a solid 7 innings, surrendering only 4 hits and a single run while striking out 9. This is exactly the kind of performance we've been hoping to see from Strider, especially after his last two outings. It's great to witness his strong comeback.

Shifting our focus to the Braves' potent offense, Austin Riley showcased his power early on by sending a ball soaring 447 feet deep into dead center field during the first inning. Riley's prowess at the plate is undeniable, and his swing seems to carry the ball to the moon and back. In addition to this, he contributed with a sac fly in the third, bringing Acuña home.

Kevin Pillar, who took up the left field position for tonight's game, delivered a solid performance, securing extra bases with a double RBI that brought Marcell Ozuna home. Tomorrow, we'll be heading down to South Florida to take on the Miami Marlins in a three-game series, with Bryce Elder slated to take the mound. Elder boasts an impressive 12-4 record and a 3.38 ERA.
