Good evening to my lovely Mets fans! Jokes, jokes, welcome back to another scoop with Kap, and guess what? The Braves have emerged victorious, securing a series win against the Mets! Let's dive into the action-packed details.

In a remarkable display, the Braves triumphed 7-0, and kudos to Morton for claiming his third consecutive shutout. Morton's prowess shone as he dominated the mound for 7 innings, striking out an impressive 11 batters while conceding merely 2 hits. It's a joy to witness Morton's triumphant return after his challenging period. Marcell Ozuna, our power hitter, didn't disappoint, smashing his way to 4 home runs in the last three games. Today, he exhibited his brilliance by going 3 for 4, also contributing with a single RBI in the 1st and a double RBI in the 6th. Big Bear, as we fondly call him, truly shines when the pressure is on and runs are at stake.

Vaughn Grissom added to the excitement with a triple, capitalizing on a right-field mishap that saw DJ Stewart tumble into the grass while attempting to tackle a ground ball. DJ Stewart, how did that meeting with the grass feel, especially knowing that the Braves have once again triumphed over your team? But let's move on from the Mets banter. Last night, the Braves secured a 3-2 victory, and guess who the opponents were? Yes, the Mets once again.

Rosario showcased his prowess by launching an absolute bomb to center field during the bottom of the 2nd inning, bringing Marcell Ozuna home with him. These two are undoubtedly the dynamic duo of the Braves right now; when Ozuna is on base, Rosario swings into action, ensuring Ozuna comes closer to, or even reaches home plate. And guess what? Ozuna hit a massive dinger that sailed to dead center field in the bottom of the 5th, covering an impressive 399 feet.

Taking the mound for the game was Bryce Elder, who pitched for 5.1 innings, allowing just 2 hits and a run, while striking out 3. Although not his most challenging outing, there's room for improvement. Raisel Iglesias brought the game to a resounding close, securing the save for the Braves.

That wraps up tonight's thrilling update. As the Mets fans continue their journey through the stages of grief, post the trade deadline exodus of their team, we bid you all goodnight. Stay tuned for more exciting updates, as we'll be back with another post tomorrow night!
