Good evening, everyone, and welcome back to another ATL ReKap. Tonight, we have some exciting news to share. The Falcons have secured their second victory of the season, now boasting a 2-0 record, after a nail-biting match against the Green Bay Packers, with a final score of 25-24.

Desmond Ridder displayed an impressive performance, completing 19 out of 32 passes for 237 yards, and clinching a rushing touchdown, albeit with one interception. The 8th overall pick in the draft, Bijan Robinson, delivered an outstanding performance. He carried the ball 19 times, accumulating an impressive 124 yards. Robinson's exceptional skills, especially for a rookie, are shaping him into an invaluable asset for the team. His deceptive footwork and control over his movements left defenders guessing, resulting in some memorable ankle-breaking plays this afternoon. It's safe to say he's a strong contender for the OROY award.

Cordarrele Patterson is anticipated to make his return next week, following a thigh injury. Additionally, Drake London's 67 yards on 6 receptions, including the crucial final touchdown, and Mack Hollins' stunning 45-yard reception, were pivotal moments in today's game. Tight end Jonnu Smith also made important contributions with some key receptions.

The defense was commendable, applying significant pressure on QB Jordan Love. Grady Jarret, Callais Campbell, and David Onyemata all showcased exceptional efforts in their pursuit of Love. Looking ahead, our next challenge will be against the Lions in Detroit at 1 p.m. EST. Be sure to stay tuned for the post-game recap.

Now, we are turning our attention to the Braves. Unfortunately, they faced a surprising sweep by the Miami Marlins. Some speculate that this strategic move by Snitker might set the stage for a more favorable matchup in the Wild Card. With Miami potentially facing the Phillies, a team they've had success against, it could pave the way for an advantageous NLDS for the Braves.

In today's game, Charlie Morton pitched for 4 innings, yielding 6 hits and 6 runs while striking out 5. Marcell Ozuna provided a glimmer of hope with a solo shot to left field in the 8th inning, putting the first run on the board for the Braves. However, the final score was a disappointing 16-2 in favor of the Marlins. Tomorrow, we'll be facing the Phillies at home at 7:20 pm EST, with Kyle Wright expected to start. He's coming in with a 0-2 record and a 7.48 ERA. This marks his second start since returning from the IL, so we're eager to see what he brings to the table. Here's to hoping for a successful outing.
